Day of resurrection in Islam

The Day of Judgment (Day of resurrection in Islam) will come when the whole universe will be destroyed and the dead will be resurrected for the judgment of Allah Almighty. The day of judgment will be the beginning of life that will never end. Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran about the Day of Judgment in a way: “And those who believe and do good deeds, they are inhabitants of Paradise, they dwell there forever.” (Quran, 2:82)

When Muslims believe that there is a future life that will remain forever, they know the Day of Judgment where all the people of this world will be judged on the basis of their actions and on the basis of these acts they will receive a reward or punishment in eternal life. In the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty says: “On that day, people will appear in separate groups to show their actions: whoever has the weight of an atom will see it, but whoever will have the weight of the evil see this “(Quran, 99: 6-8).

Many verses of the Holy Quran describe the fact of the Day of Judgment. “And the horn shall be blown, and at the same time graves to their Lord, they shall hurry.” (Quran, 36:51) In another verse, Allah the Almighty described it as follows: “When We have begun the first creation, We will repeat it” (Quran, 21: 104).

According to the Holy Quran, the appearance of the Day of Resurrection is inevitable and no one should have the slightest doubt about it. Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran: “Allah, there is no god but Him – He will certainly gather you on the day of the Resurrection, there is no doubt about it, and that is more true in word than Allah? “(Quran, 4:87)

The day of judgment is a transitional day when the human life of this world would end and all of us would move on to their respective status in the future life that will remain forever.

Signs of the day of judgment in the Quran

The Quran gives an image of how Resurrection Day will unfold and what people’s reactions will be once it happens. The lines below discuss some signs of the Day of Judgment as interpreted in the Quran. The Day of resurrection in Islam has signs.

The breath of the trumpet

One of the signs of the Day of Judgment is the breath of the trumpet. According to the Holy Quran at the end of the world, before the existence of the Day of Resurrection, the trumpet would be blown twice and this important event is a sign that the Day of Judgment is near. Quran represents the sound of the trumpet as follows: “And the trumpet shall be blown, and all who are in heaven and all who are in the earth shall be ashamed, except those whom Allah hath pleased. to, then it will be blown again, so behold, they will rise while waiting. “(Quran, 39:68)

The day of resurrection will begin when the trumpet blows for the first time. When the trumpet blows, the first reaction would be that everything in heaven and earth will fade away, meaning that life on it would end, except for those whom Allah wants to live. When the trumpet sounds for the second time, everything will rise and all will enter an order that marks the initiation of the Day of Judgment. So the Day of resurrection in Islam has been important.

Collapse of the solar system

One of the signs of the Day of Resurrection is the collapse and complete disruption of the Solar System, as mentioned in many verses of the Holy Quran. Some of them are as follows: “When the sun is overcast, and when the stars darken, and when the mountains are made to pass.” (Quran, 81: 1-3)

“The day when We will roll the sky like the winding of the scroll for the writings” (Quran, 21: 104)

“The day when the earth will be changed into a different land, and the heavens also, and they will go out before Allah, the One, the Supreme.” (Quran, 14:48)

Each for himself

Such will be the scenario of the Day of Judgment that no one will concern anyone but himself. Therefore, the thought that to date any friends or family relationship would help anyone is wrong. In the Quran, Allah the Almighty says: “When the deafening explosion comes, the day a man flee his brother and his mother and father, and his wife and children: that day every man will have enough cares of his own. “(Quran, 50: 33-37)

In short, a Muslim must realize that the day of judgment is as inevitable as death. So, to be the one who considers the Day of Resurrection as a good news notification, a Muslim must follow the instructions of Islam to prepare for the Day of Resurrection. May Allah give us the strength to do good deeds for success in the future, Ameen!
