Ruqyah: All you need to know about it

Ruqyah is the recitation of the Quran to find refuge in Allah and memory and supplications, which are used to treat illnesses and other ailments since the Quran is a source of healing. This may treat the evil eye, Jinn possessions, envy, and magic.

The key is to place complete confidence and dependence on Allah, the source of all healing and treatment.

Do it in odd numbers, according to the Sunnah.

It is legal to have it done to you without your permission, and it is also permitted to ask someone else to do it for you, but this is not encouraged.

Ruqyah

Many Muslims are perplexed by the concept of Ruqyah.

What is Ruqyah, and do you need any special qualifications or skills to conduct it?

Let’s start with a definition of ruqyah.

Ruqyah is similar to dua’a in that it is just the recital of particular Quranic verses or Saheeh hadith that are recognized for finding shelter in Allah.

This ayat is thought to be a source of healing in particular.

Specifically for protection from diseases and sickness, protection from the evil eye, and Jinn exorcism, or sihr (meaning black magic or witchcraft).

What exactly is Ruqyah?

Some Muslims see it as communicating with demonic spirits, which is incorrect.

This is not the case at all.

It is essentially a type of du’a that includes the recital of specific Quranic passages.

As well as additional incantations and invocations based on our beloved Prophet Muhammad’s Prophetic tradition, Peace and Blessings be upon him.

All of these verses are about taking shelter in Allah and requesting Allah to strengthen our Iman.

That’s accurate; its notion extends beyond protection from spiritual and bodily damage to a way of increasing our Iman and Taqwa toward Allah Almighty.

The words of Ruqyah are thought to have therapeutic properties.

Ruqyah can be used to treat symptoms of the evil eye, Jinn exorcisms, sihr (black magic or witchcraft) transmitted by the inflictor, and other medical diseases.

Before Ruqyah, What Should You Do?

InshaAllah, there are some etiquette or guidelines to observe before beginning Ruqyah healing to optimize the treatment’s effectiveness.

Here are a few things to remember:

Make dua to Allah Almighty after performing wudhu and offering two rak’ats.

This is particularly vital while doing tahajjud in the dead of night.

Make a sincere dua to Allah, asking for His help in treating whatever illness you are now suffering from.

Ruqyah for healing entails making honest istighfar and abstaining from sin.

Try to keep your passion and cravings in check, do kind to one another, and if you have ever harmed or done unjustly to someone, you should make amends.

Those who provide sadaqah also have a tremendous Ruqyah.

Our dear Prophet Muhammad, Peace and Blessings be upon him, stated it best:

“Treat your sick by giving Sadaqah.” (Bayhaqi).

As a result, donate to charity to seek Allah’s help

 whenever you can.

Removing any animated photos from your house is vital before beginning the Ruqyah procedure.

Any live images, amulets with indecipherable inscriptions related to shirk, or even evil eye amulets should be thrown away right away.

Throw the articles away in a river or somewhere far from home to protect yourself from evil.

It is excellent if you can stay in a condition of wudhu throughout the day, especially when sleeping if you are able and it is not too difficult for you.

Execution method:

Ruqyah is performed as follows:

You can recite this by collecting your palms and saying it in them.

It was then blowing into your hands and wiping the part that is unwell or hurting you.

You can also bring zam zam water and say the following three, five, or seven times over it, blowing each time:

Al Fatiha, Ayatul Kursy, Suratul Baqarah’s last two verses, and the Quran’s last three Surah

Add any Prophetic Dua’a to that and blow on it.

You may drink this water in the morning, afternoon, and before bedtime, and you can also use it to clean the areas that pain you.

RECITING HAS MANY BENEFITS

Here are some more hadiths that explain the significance of Ruqyah and when and how to say it.

According to Aishah, the Prophet (s.w.t) instructed ‘Aishah to recite Ruqyah to heal the evil eye. Sunan Ibn Majah 3512 is a Sahih book (Darussalam).

THE APPLICATION OF ZAM-ZAM WATER

Hadith 3062 was graded as Hasan by Ibn Maajah and provided insight into the usage of Zam-Zam water.

According to the article, water may be utilized for various reasons.

“I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.w.t) say:

”The water of Zamzam is for whatever it is drunk for.”

This suggests that Zam-Zam water is adequate for whatever niyyah (intention) it is used for.

Allah will help you if you drink it to feel better.

If you drink it to be nourished, Allah will provide for you.

Allah will quench your thirst if you drink it to quench your thirst.

Conclusion:

Inshallah, if we recite these Quranic verses and make the true duaas above, Allah will hear our cries for help and assist us in many ways we don’t comprehend.

We pray to Allah to cure us, safeguard our homes and families, and put us among the greatest of believers, and we remember him in whatever we do.

Keep your Iman (faith) firm, disregard the Shayateen’s whispers, and accept that certain things take longer than we expect.

Allah is aware of your needs.
