God will send no other prophet after His Eminence. From the outset of his mission, the Prophet of Islam identified himself as the seal of the prophets, and the Muslims embraced him as such. In the Islamic context, the question of prophethood&#8217;s finality is seen as a significant issue that does not require proof.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Final prophet<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Holy Quran, as well as books of tradition, mention finality. The Quran is nothing less than a revelation that is sent to him&#8221; (53:3-4).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008000\">Early Years: The life of the Final Prophet<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Around 570 A.D., Muhammad was born into the Quraish, Mecca&#8217;s most influential clan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Quraish&#8217;s authority was derived from their success as traders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Quraish were able to control commerce throughout the west coast of Arabia, north to Syria, and south to Yemen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Mecca serves as a crossroads for several commercial routes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Mecca was home to two immensely revered polytheistic cults whose gods were said to safeguard the city&#8217;s prosperous trade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">After several years as a trader, Khadija, a wealthy widow, employed Muhammad to oversee the safe transit of her caravans to Syria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">They married in the end.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong>Revelations from God<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The final prophet Muhammad began experiencing visions and hearing voices when he was forty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">He would meditate on Mount Hira, near Mecca, search for clarity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Archangel Gabriel (Jibra&#8217;il in Arabic) came to him on one of these instances and told him to recite &#8220;in the name of [you&#8217;re] lord.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">This\u00a0was\u00a0the\u00a0first\u00a0of\u00a0many\u00a0revelations\u00a0that\u00a0formed\u00a0the\u00a0foundation\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Qur&#8217;an,\u00a0Islam&#8217;s\u00a0sacred\u00a0book.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">These early revelations indicated the presence of a single God, opposing the pre-Islamic Arabian Peninsula&#8217;s polytheistic beliefs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Initially\u00a0taken\u00a0aback\u00a0by\u00a0the\u00a0seriousness\u00a0of\u00a0what\u00a0was revealed\u00a0to\u00a0him,\u00a0Muhammad\u00a0found\u00a0unflinching\u00a0support\u00a0in\u00a0his\u00a0wife\u00a0and\u00a0gathered\u00a0followers\u00a0over\u00a0time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">His passionate monotheistic preaching angered many Meccan businesspeople.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">They feared that as a result, commerce, which they believed was protected by pagan gods, would suffer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">From that moment on, Muhammad was ostracised in Mecca.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">For a time, Muhammad was shielded from persecution by his wife&#8217;s influence and the standing of his uncle, Abu Talib, the clan&#8217;s leader.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">However, once they died, Muhammad&#8217;s condition in Mecca deteriorated.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong>Final Prophet: Hijra<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_12573\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12573\" style=\"width: 1748px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-12573\" src=\"https:\/\/thequrancourses.com\/our-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/final-prophet-9.png\" alt=\"final prophet\" width=\"1748\" height=\"1240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thequrancourses.com\/our-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/final-prophet-9.png 1748w, https:\/\/thequrancourses.com\/our-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/final-prophet-9-300x213.png 300w, https:\/\/thequrancourses.com\/our-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/final-prophet-9-1024x726.png 1024w, https:\/\/thequrancourses.com\/our-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/final-prophet-9-768x545.png 768w, https:\/\/thequrancourses.com\/our-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/final-prophet-9-1536x1090.png 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1748px) 100vw, 1748px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-12573\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">final prophet<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Muhammad&#8217;s and his allies&#8217;
