I do it in English, making the intention at the beginning of the fast that I will begin the fast, beginning with \/ eating the food that comes from the mercy of God. I also end the fast by saying in English that I fasted today by obeying the orders of Allah and that I broke the fast with the food that came from him. I personalize it in the sense that I also ask him to accept my efforts and make me able to fast for him, at the request of him. I can ask that he forgive my sins and grant me the good things of this life and the good things of the hereafter and that he saves me from the punishment of the fire of hell (he is an ayat of Koran!). There are rituals “duahs \/ niyaat” that can be done but I choose not to do it. It’s a personal thing !! My humble opinion!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
