There is a reason behind the creation of this world and humanity. In the Holy Quran, Almighty Allah Almighty mentioned the reason for the creation of this world which is: “And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is competent for all things. , in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of night and day are signs for those of understanding Who remembers Allah by standing or sitting or lying on their sides and thinking to the creation of heaven and earth, [saying], “Our Lord, You have not created this without purpose; exalted are you [above such a thing]; so protect us from the punishment of the Fire .. “(Quran 3: 189-191)

Allah Almighty says in the Quran: “Did you think that we created you in the game (without any purpose) and that you would not be brought back to us?” (Quran 23: 115)

From the verse above, we can conclude, we have indeed been created for a purpose beyond that of mere play and enjoyment in this life. We have the purpose of life that we should know and have to live life for that purpose.

In another verse of the Quran, Allah Almighty says: “Know that the life of this world is only fun, diversion, adornment, boasting of each other and competition in the growth of wealth and children – as the example of a rain whose growth pleases the tillers, then it dries and you see it turn yellow, then it becomes scattered debris, and in the Hereafter is a severe punishment and the forgiveness of Allah and what is the mundane life except the enjoyment of illusion? “(Quran 57:20)

In the verse above, Allah declares that the reality of this life is that of deception and we should not fall for its temporary pleasures.

In the Quran, Allah the Almighty says: “I created the jinn and humanity only for My worship.” (Quran, 51:56)

From ayah, it is clear that the creation of humans, as well as jinn, is for the purpose of worshiping Allah Almighty. When a Muslim venerates Allah Almighty, he or she actually accepts his or her Lordship which is the same as on the oath that was taken before their birth. So what about to understand the Purpose of Life According to Islam and Quranic Verses. In another verse of the Holy Quran, Almighty Allah says: “Satan’s plan is to incite enmity and hatred among you with intoxicants and games, and to prevent you from remembering Allah and pray regularly, will you not abstain then? “(Quran, 5:91)

In the above verse, Allah Almighty has informed us and made it clear that when humans indulge in each other’s hatred, they will certainly choose to hate others as a goal of their life that will distract them from the true purpose and who is the memory of Allah. Therefore, in order to achieve the goal of knowing the Lord, a Muslim must abstain from harm to the same extent that he or she is prone to do well. 1. The Purpose of Life based on Al Qur’an is two sides of direction. Upward to ALLAH from humans is to serve (worship) HIM [alone] (51:56). And downward from ALLAH to humans is to give mercy (rahmah)
