Rewards for parents whose children memorize the Qur’an:
The parents of the child who tries to memorize the Quran also receive an abundant amount of rewards and blessings from Allah.
Among the many topics mentioned in the Qur’an and the Hadith Sahih, some are listed below:
You will be given two clothes to wear on the day of judgment
The Prophet (phuh) said: “Whoever recites the Qur’an, learns it and acts according to it, will receive a crown of light to wear on the Day of Judgment, whose light will be like the sun.” His parents will be dressed in two garments that did not exist in this worldly life.
So, they will say what led us to dress (in these clothes)? It will be said, “Your child seized the Koran, caused it.” (Al Hakim called the authentic and Ath Thabe agreed with him)
You will get the reward of guiding towards something good (memorize the Qur’an)
The Prophet (pbuh) said, “He who guides to something good is like the one who does it.” (Sahih Muslim)
You will get an ongoing reward for instilling Islam in their hearts
You will get the constant reward of instilling Islam in their hearts, the love of this religion and the Book of Allah.
The Prophet (pbuh) said, “Whoever invites to be guided will receive the reward as the rewards of those who follow him and that it will not diminish their rewards …” (Sahih Muslim)
The establishment of signs of Islam and its ways (sunnah) with your family, neighbors and acquaintances
Indeed, some people follow others. The Prophet (pbuh) said, “Whoever does a good deed in Islam, then he will have the reward and reward of him who acts after him …”
Your child grows in kindness and justice so that it is a means of blessing for you after your death
Indeed, the prophet stipulated justice in the child (so that the parent receives blessings from him).
He said (pbuh), “When the son of Adam dies, his actions are cut except for three things.” Among these three things mentioned, “Or a righteous child who implores for him.” (Muslim)
Keep your child away from areas of evil temptation and doubt and protect him from the fire of hell.
Allah says, “Oh you who believe! Save yourself and your families from the fire whose fuel is humanity and stones “(Quran 66: 6).
You will be happy with them
You will be happy to see your sons and daughters memorize the Qur’an, which will automatically give you peace of heart. They will be concerned about the verse they read up to.
In this way, they will grow on the paths of good, far from the deviation and what leads to it. It’s a great blessing.
A nice reward for a good education of children
The great reward you will get from Allah to be patient with a good education and a good education of our child. Allah says: “And those who fight for us (in our cause), we will surely guide them on our way.” (Quran 29:69)
To be absolved of the sin of being lax with the education of children
The Prophet (pbuh) said: “You are all guardians and you will all be asked about those who are under his guardianship and the man is the guardian over his family, and he will be questioned about those under his tutelage …” (Al Bukhari and Muslim)
Help preserve the Qur’an by having your children memorize the Qur’an
Benefiting to the Ummah (Muslim nation) and participating in the production of a righteous nation that will preserve the Book of Allah. This will make them righteous and they will make others righteous too.
So, oh parents! If you avoid placing your child in Islamic circles to learn the Qur’an or if you do not know the rewards for your child to memorize, then this is a good time to rethink and plan your steps again.
Do not stop your sons and daughters from going to the memorization and recitation circles of the Qur’an.
Strive to do your share of good deeds by supporting blessed circles and schools to encourage adults and children to memorize the Qur’an.
