Dua Settle a debt In English

O Allah, suffice me with what You have allowed instead of what You have forbidden, and make me independent of all others besides You.
At-Tirmidhi: 3563

Supplications to pay the debt

Question

I have a lot of commercial debt related to the market, but there are so many that it is impossible to repay them if current market conditions are maintained, and I can not find any way to repay them. What should I do?

Answer

Praise be to Allah.
We ask Allah to relieve your distress, repay your debts and bless you with his generosity.
Here are some tips that we hope will help you.

Firstly:

Be patient and try to free yourself from the situation you are in by looking for legal ways to earn money, which will allow you to make a profit, make up for your losses and pay off your debts. There are many ways to make money. A man can start with something small so he is blessed. We have seen this happen in real life.

Secondly:

Reduce your expenses and remember that your creditors are more entitled to anything that exceeds your basic needs. Do not be indifferent to the question of debt and do not be extravagant in your expenses. Do not let despair make you forget or miss looking for a way out.

Thirdly:

Ask the creditors to be sober with you and tell them that you can not repay them, and ask them to give you more time. It’s better for you than trying to avoid or postpone them, which will only make them angry at you.

Fourthly:

Restore the relationship between you and Allah, be exalted and restore the relationship between you and others. Allah has promised to those who obey him that he will grant them more of his generosity, as he says (interpretation of meaning):

“Whoever practices righteousness – whether man or woman – while he is a true believer (of Islamic monotheism), in truth, we will give him a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and legal disposition), and we will certainly pay them a proportional reward for the best of what they were doing (that is, heaven in the afterlife)
” [al-Nahl 16:97]
“And whoever will fear Allah and respect his duties to him, he will prepare for him a way out (of every difficulty).
And he will provide him with sources he could never have imagined. And whoever puts his trust in Allah, it will suffice him. Verily, Allah will fulfill his purpose. Indeed, Allah has defined a measure for all things »
[al-Talaaq 65: 2-3]
“I said to them,” Ask your Lord for forgiveness; in truth, he forgives; -It will send you rain in abundance, And give you more money and children, and devote yourself to gardens and rivers.
” [Nooh 71: 10-12]
So pray a lot for forgiveness, and repent and do good works, because the Mercy of Allah is close to those who do good.

Fifthly:

If you have taken out these loans for the purpose of repaying them, you must think positively about Allah and be sure that you will repay them. Al-Bukhaari (2387) recounted that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Whoever appropriates the wealth of people for the purpose of repaying it, Allah will allow him to repay it.” Ibn Maajah (2409) recounted that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah with the borrower he will pay his debt, provided that (the loan) is not for something that Allah does not like. Considered as authentic (saheeh) by al-Albaani in Sahih Ibn Maajah.

Sixthly:

Turn to Allah to invoke it (du’aa ‘) and be sure to receive an answer. Anyone who persists in knocking on the door will soon have it for himself. Choose the duaa’s response times, for example the last third of the night, after “Asr on Fridays”, between adhaan and iqaamah, when you are traveling and you are out of fasting.
You will find below some du’aa (supplications) adapted to your situation: Al-Tirmidhi (3563) told ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that a mukaatib (slave who had entered into a manumission contract) had happened to him and told him,’ I can not pay my manumission ; help me. He said, “Do not I have to tell you a few words that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught me? And if you have a debt similar to that of the mountain of Seer, Allah will repay you. He said: ‘Say: Allaahumma akfini bi halaalika’ and haraamika wa aghnini bi fadlika ‘amman siwaaka (O Allah, just what you allowed, so that I do not need what you have forbidden me and that you make me independent means by your generosity so that I do not need anyone outside of you). ” This hadeeth was classified as hasan (sound) by al-Albaani in Sahih al-Tirmidhi.

Al-Tabaraani told al-Mu’jam al-Sagheer that Anas ibn Maalik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to Mu’aah (may Allah be pleased with him): “Am I not going to teach you a du’aa ‘that you could say even if you have debts like Mount Uhud, so that Allah can pay you that? Say, O Mu’aadh: ‘Allaahumma Maalik al-mulk, tu’ti al-mulk man tasha’ wa tanzi ‘al-mulk mimman tasha’, wa tu’izzu man tasha ‘wa tudhilul man tasha’, bi yadika al- khayr, innaka ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer, rahmaan al-dunya wah’l-aakhirah wa raheemahuma, man tu’teeyahuma tasha’ wa tamna ‘minhuma man tasha’, arhamni rahmatan taghnini biha ‘a rahmati man (O Allah), Sovereign of all, you give the power to whom you want and you take the power to whom you want, you exalt whatever you want and you lower whatever you want. In your hand is all goodness and you are able to do everything. Merciful and compassionate in this world and in the hereafter, you give them to whoever you want and you refuse them to whoever you want. Grant me mercy in such a way that I do not need the mercy of anyone but you). ‘”

Classified as hasan by al-Albaani in Sahih al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb (1821). Ahmad (3712) recounted that Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
“If a person afflicted with anxiety or sorrow says: ‘Allaahumma inni’ abduka wa ibnu ‘abdika wa ibn ammatika naasiyati bi yadika maadin fiyya hukmuka’ adlun fiyya qadaa’uka as’ aluka bi kulli is dying allamtahu ahadan min khalqika and anzaltahu fi kitaabika with asta’tharta bihi fi ‘ilm il-ghaybi’ indaka and tajal al-Qur’aana qalbi wa noora sadri wa jalaa’a huzni wa dhaaba hammi (O Allaah, I am your slave, son of thy slave, son of your slave wife, my shaft is in your hand, your command is for me forever executed and your decree is right, I ask you by all the names that belong to you named, or, or you have taught one of your creations, or you have revealed in your book, or you have preserved, in the knowledge of the unseen with you, that you make the Koran the life of my heart and the light of my chest , and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety) ‘, then Allah will remove his anguish and sorrow and replace him with joy.
” It has been said, “O Messenger of Allah, should not we learn it?
” He said, “Yes, whoever hears it should learn it.
” Classified in the Sahih by al-Albaani in Sahih al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb (1822).
May Allah help us and help you to do what he likes and likes. And Allah knows better.
