Ayat-ul-Kursi is verse 255 of Surah Al-Baqarah and is related to the throne of Allah. This verse has many blessings and is used for the treatment of Ruqyah, treatment of the evil eye, black magic, and also for general and complete protection.
Surah Baqarah benefits are evident from this hadeeth reported by Abu Hurayrah. He said: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.) put me in charge of guarding the zakaah of Ramadan.
Someone came to me and started taking (illegally) a handful of food. I seized it and said, ‘I will lead you to the Messenger of Allah (saw).’ He said, ‘I am going to teach you a few words by which Allah will benefit you.’ I said, ‘What are they? He said, ‘When you go to your bed, recite this ayah:’ Allah! Benefits of the Last Two Ayats in Surah Baqarah

The Holy Prophet (S) said that whoever slake the first four verses of Surah al-Baqarah attached by the ‘Ayat-ul-Kursi with the last three verses of this Surah, makes the habit of reciting these verses daily – his life, his property and his family will be protected and no hurt will come to them. Shaitan will not approach him and he will not be one of those who forget Allah (SW).
The late Tabarsi quoted Majma’-ul-Bayan as saying that once the Prophet (S) was asked, “Which Koranic Surah is the best? He (S) replied, “Al-Baqarah”. They asked, “What verse of Surah (is the best)?” He replied: “Ayat-ul-Kursi, the verse of the throne”, (verse 255) “. [1]
Surah Baqarah Benefits for Marriage
The superiority of this holy Surah is, it seems, due to its completeness, and the preference of the throne verse (verse 255) is due to its special monotheistic content, which will be dealt with later in this verse.
